What is metaphysics?
The term metaphysics describes a branch of philosophy that examines the fundamental nature of reality and deals with the first principles of things, including abstract concepts such as being, knowing, substance, cause, identity, time, and space.Metaphysics studies the relationship between mind and matter, between substance and attribute, and between potentiality and actuality. As such, spirituality can be thought of synonymously with metaphysics.
