Should You Ever Pay Someone to Remove a Negative Entity Attachment?
Question from a reader:
The only entity that I know of that would drag you down, make you fail and speak horrible things in your head to believe is your own ego. The good news is – it’s of your own creation. Can someone remove that through a meditation? Ha, no. 🙂 Not likely. You’re the only one with control over that.
“I have recently got a reading and was told I’ve had a entity attached to me all my life and it’s soul purpose is to drag me down, make me fail, speak horrible things in my head for me to believe them. She said she can be the one to help through a mediation but a cost of $400. Please talk to me. I’m a single mom of 3 Boys and have had a rough life but didn’t want to hear money being asked of me to help me out, too much money.”
For many people, it’s easier to believe that there’s something out there that is the source of all of their pain and suffering than to take responsibility for their own emotions and circumstances. This creates a perpetual victim mentality. But I’m here to tell you – and a great many spiritual teachers far wiser than I have also said the same – that you are the creator of your life. No one else. You create your reality. The world you see outside of you is but a reflection of what’s inside. That’s a scary thought, I’m sure – but it’s also an empowering one. I’ve made it pretty clear in several of my past posts that I don’t believe in the concept of an external negative force attaching itself to innocent people against their will for the sole purpose of ruining their lives. The very idea of it goes against the most basic fundamental principles of spiritual philosophy:
Love is all there is.
You are the creator of your reality.
Like attracts like.
If love is all there is, then evil is an illusion. If you are the creator of your reality, then nothing can harm you against your will. If like energy attracts like energy, then a negative entity cannot attach to you unless you are already of a negative vibration. So you see, it just doesn’t measure up. Too many times we put our faith in things and people outside of ourselves.
We believe that things, situations, and people outside of ourselves somehow have control over our lives and when we start to put that kind of faith in things outside of ourselves, we give our power away. And then you come across people like this person who also has that belief and it’s easy to give your power to that person, believing in what they have to tell you because they’re psychic, after all, right? Surely they know what they’re talking about… I understand the place that you are coming from. I was there, once. You’re new to all of this, you assume that other people have the answers, but you don’t and you are looking for guidance. You’ve got more power than that. You only need to learn how to see it.
I recommend watching my class on Transcending the Ego, it will give you a good overview of where to start.

This does not apply to questions that you would ask during a psychic reading. Please book a reading with a reputable intuitive - you can find my list of recommended people here. I also offer single card tarot readings [GET DETAILS].
My first reaction to the reading was WOW. Your words captured a theme woven into my life right now. The reading has emboldened me to take back my power and inspired me to research some books, get back to meditating and provided a focus.Dina
