Some of you may have noticed earlier in the week that things are looking a bit different around here. I’m in the midst of a blog redesign! For my tech nerd readers, I’ve installed a new WordPress theme, one that I have been using for several of my clients and I just love how much easier it is to create posts, pages and layouts, so I’ve decided to convert my blog to Divi from Elegant Themes. I kind of wish I had just started with it, but I wasn’t as familiar with it when I started the blog so I didn’t know what a huge mistake I was making. 🙂

For the moment, things look nearly the same as they did before I switched themes, but over the course of the next couple of weeks you may begin to see changes here and there with a few new features and sharing capabilities.

I apologize if there’s any technical issues we run into while I’m in the midst of upgrading. If you find a glitch, feel free to shoot me an email and let me know.

The actual look/feel of the blog won’t too different. I’m narrowing down my look and simplifying things a bit. I just finished my inspiration board this morning and it’s got me very excited to get to work on graphic design:

Stay tuned to see how things turn out!

  1. I LOVE what you’re doing, Ash! The gold in the top feather? (or is it meant to be a leaf?) looks real enough to touch. Your inspiration board is lovely. I hadn’t thought of using something like that as a guide. Just recently, I’ve been using PicMonkey and Canva, mainly for simple collages for my personal Facebook page. But I also read a lot of the Canva articles and have come to realize how interesting graphic design can be! You seem to be enjoying the process. Anyway, I look forward to the new look. All the best, Judith

My first reaction to the reading was WOW. Your words captured a theme woven into my life right now. The reading has emboldened me to take back my power and inspired me to research some books, get back to meditating and provided a focus.
