Last Monday I posted the first of a guest blog series on the Law of Attraction. I mentioned in that post that there were a few additional perspectives I wanted to add when it was over, so today I’m going to cover at least a few of those.
The Law of Attraction is so powerful that it trumps all other laws and forces in the Universe. It never takes time off or breaks and it is always working. It supersedes science, viruses, bacteria, pathogens, parasites, natural disasters, bad luck, heredity, genetics, chance, random, poor diet, too much sugar, astrology, numerology, tea leaves and psychology. Under The Law of Attraction, there are no odds and statistics are meaningless.
I have a bit of a different perspective of Law of Attraction (LOA) than what is presented here, and I believe that this is because of the way that astrology, numerology, tea leaves and psychology are being understood in conjunction with it.
If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time, you’ve probably heard me speak a time or two about how I don’t put faith in predictive readings – be it from a psychic or any other type of reading – because YOU are the creators of your lives and when you ask someone to give you a prediction, you are giving your power away.
The most common misunderstanding of astrology, numerology, etc. that I come across is that they are either so vague that they could apply to anyone, or that all of them can’t be true (i.e. “Well my astrology says one thing, my numerology says another – so which is it? It can’t be both.”).
Reading the one paragraph summary of an astrology sun sign description and dismissing all of astrology because it’s “so vague it could mean anything” is the equivalent of reading a synopsis on the back of a book cover and putting the book back because it didn’t offer you any specific details.
If you were to study a person’s astrological chart along with their numerology chart and do a hand analysis, etc. you would discover that each chart would show you the exact same character and personality traits along with similar challenges and areas of growth. They all connect.
You can tell a lot about a person based on just their sun sign, because it’s the most prominent piece of their chart, but to really get a clear picture, you’re going to want to look at an entire chart. The same concept is applicable to numerology. You can look at a person’s life path number and get a good feel for them, but that’s just the surface level. You’re going to want to look at the entire chart to get into the nitty gritty details of who they are.
The Law of Attraction is the most fundamental of all universal laws. Out-pacing the laws of gravity and velocity (E=V2), well-beyond the measurements of science, The Law of Attraction is the basis for who you are.
And therein lies the difference in how I view the Law of Attraction vs. how it’s been presented in these two quotes.
In my view, the Law of Attraction has no determination in who you are, but rather is a contextual tool that sets the backdrop for your life. Your numerology, astrology, etc. are tools that you can use to find out the blue print of your personality and thus, the strengths and challenges that are ingrained in your energy signature for this life. How those strengths and challenges are expressed in the physical is determined by your attitude and what you attract into your life via the LOA.
Your astrological chart, your numerological chart, and the lines in your hands don’t determine who you are either. You plan your life before you are born and you determine who you will be, personality wise and the set of potential circumstances that will surround your living experience.
Those circumstances involve a spectrum of possibilities, and which ones you experience in your specific point of awareness is dependent upon the Law of Attraction, although if the many worlds theory of quantum physics is a real thing, some part of your larger awareness (higher self) experiences every possible life that you have. Yours is just one.
Later this week I’ll talk about life planning a little bit more and how LOA figures in.
My first reaction to the reading was WOW. Your words captured a theme woven into my life right now. The reading has emboldened me to take back my power and inspired me to research some books, get back to meditating and provided a focus.Dina
